there is always time to give back
there is always time to give back
It has always been important to me to give back to the community. I have been asked on multiple occasions to volunteer and support future fishermen as well as help with habitat restoration projects.
The gRANTFORK HOMECOMING PARADE
We were happy to be a part of the 76th annual Grantfork Homecoming parade. Conducted over two evenings in August many residents and visitors to the area watched as nearly 80 floats worked their way around the track. Proudly we supported our sponsors handing out different swag, candy and fishing tackle. This was a great event to be a part of in the local community and can’t wait to attend next year.
The moose club fishing clinic
This was the second time I was asked to be involved in the Moose Fishing Clinic held on 5/11/24 at the Trenton Sportsman Club. This is such a great day and i was excited to be asked to return.
The Highland Moose Lodge provided the clinic while the Sportsman Club conducted the fishing tournament. Kids were given fishing poles and some tackle when they arrived. Then they were taught how to tie knots and bait their hooks, Also learning how to cast in the process.
They had 93 kids and their families attend this year. It was an amazing event and i look forward to it again next year.

The mossback Fish habitat restoration project
This was an event being held by the MLF and i was again honored to be a part of it. This project took place on lake eufaula in oklahoma. It was such an amazing project to be a part of and have shared some pictures as well as a link to the story for you to see.
